JORD ELY MAPLE WOOD WATCH.
A while back, a PR agent from Jord Watches contacted me to see if I would like to review one of their watches. I'm not really a "watch person", but I thought why not try something different. Jord Watches are wooden watches, carefully handcrafted to appear sleek and modern with a still natural feel. I chose the Ely Maple* and gave them my wrist size, but when the watch arrived, it was about an inch too small for me. I had it resized at a local watch repair shop so that it fit just how I like it - a little loose but not falling off my wrist.
The Ely Maple is a gorgeous light tan wood that suits light yellow skin tones like mine. It adds a bit of warmth to my skin as well. Surprisingly, the watch is really light and easy to wear. It isn't at all scratchy like how chopsticks can sometimes be - that's what I was concerned about in the beginning.
Jord Watches come in a classic wooden box and retail at pretty decent prices, with the Ely Maple going for $129.00. Hopefully these wood watches last a long time, because they are quite beautiful.
